Wrong:Low speed running
Right:Quick running, elbow swinging backward. Study show if people less than 4.5 kilometers per hour running on treadmill, calorie consumption very low.
Wrong:Small steps running.
Right: Increase running step. Some people on treadmill speeds between 4.5-8.0mph , this speed is not fast ,cause a lot of body builders are running small steps – this is actually a lazy performance . Small steps reduce calorie consumption.
Wrong:The incline of the treadmill is maintained at “0.”
Right:Increase 4% of the height uphill. You may not feel difference between 4% of the height uphill and the ground, but calorie consumption increase, especially quick walking. Increases height uphill, you will have a sense of urgency,you are afraid to drop down the treadmill,unconsciously increase running speed or walking speed.
